Thousands gathered at Old Government House in preparation for the 2 pm start of the annual run / walk / stroll to raise money for breast cancer research.

The less competitive participants in today's annual event took a more leisurely approach to traversing the circuit that began and ended at Old Government House.

With Boy Scouts on hand to clean up the grounds, hand out water and generally cheer the participants on, the event wound down with the thousands trickling away into the city.
But not after raising $286,278 for breast cancer research.
